Marianne here today sharing a cute Birthday card for a boy. I love the sentiment ribbons and cutting the Believe banner from the ribbon worked perfectly with my little astronaut. You can find the Dream, Wish, Believe ribbon on the website here. All the details of my card are as always on my blog Marianne's Craftroom.
Hey everyone, I hope you are having a good day! I am here to share a layout I made to celebrate my grandmother's birthday (yes, that photo is my grandmother as a toddler!) using Volcan Viscose Lace and French Cotton Lace. These are one of my favourite ranges Crafty Ribbons carries because they are so beautiful and versatile :)
Have a wonderful day and thank you for popping by :)
I would like to make a special doll with ribbons since a moment. It needs some time to have an idea and then turns it in real. It is almost as I want to. I used a lot of different sort of orange and yellow ribbons for hair. And flower buttons for eyes.
Here is she, on a patchwork I made some time ago.
I used a poppy field ribbon as kimono belt. It will be soon on the website. Isn't it beautiful?
Marianne her today to share some little gift bags I made. I used some of my favourite spotted ribbon and some of the lovely delicate lace. You can find all of the lace here on the Crafty Ribbons site. For more information please visit my blog Marianne's Craftroom.
First off I whittled a coin sized hole in the wood. It was easy enough to do with a craft knife as the wood was very soft. To prepare my wooden box to accept paint I used a watercolour ground. Once that was dry I played around with some turquoise and brown watercolour paints, flicking and splattering until my desk was messy and my heart was happy!
I added some of the lighthouse ribbon to either side and wrapped some seaside ribbon around the box. I added some hand lettering to the front and a few sequins for extra sparkle.
It's easy to get the money out as the front panel slides out. I wonder if it will help with my savings..?
